Atrial flutter

Patients who are cardioverted are more likely to remain in sinus rhythm if they have a a low NYHA functional class

  • Only a third of patients are still in sinus rhythm at 2 years (36%: 95% CI: 30% to 42%) a
  • Fewer patients in atrial flutter than in atrial fibrillation relapse following cardioversion a
