  • Patients typically have more than one recurrence - in one study a mean of 7 over 2.5 years a
  • However, no one specific cause of syncope favours recurrence, and recurrent syncope is not clearly associated with death or major morbidity. a
  • Recurrent syncope is associated with raised levels of psychosocial and physical distress c
