The risk of dying from an intracranial haemorrhage is increased with: a

  • ventricular extension 
  • intracerebral haemorrhage volume ≥ 30 cm³ 
  • an initial GCS < 12
Why?

Intraventricular haemorrhage: ventricular extension, a large bleed or an an initial GCS < 12 increase the risk of dying
