Seizures

The risk of late seizures is increased with:   

  • a haemorrhagic first stroke b
  • seizure onset within 24 hours of stroke b
  • recurrent stroke b
Why?

A haemorrhagic stroke and early seizures increase the risk of having a seizure at 2 years
