Arrhythmias

Ventricular arrhythmias are common post-arrest b for up to 6 months. b Watch out for cardiac arrests. b

Note:

  • 5.6% of patients will have an episode of VF within 6 months (95% CI: 5.1% to 6.1%). b One in five die (19%: 95% CI: 12% to 26%) b
  • 2.9% of patients will have a cardiac arrest (95% CI: 2.1% to 3.7%) b
