  • The annual incidence of colorectal cancer increases with increasing duration of the disease. b
    • first 10 years: 0.2% (95% CI: 0.1% to 0.2%)
    • second 10 years: 0.7% (95% CI: 0.4% to 1.2%)
    • third 10 years: 1.2% (95% CI: 0.7% to 1.9%)
