  • Patients with severe hypertension who received 10 mg nifedipine rather than 5 mg do not clearly have a larger fall in diastolic blood pressure at 4 hours d
  • Sustained-release nifedipine is probably as effective as nifedipine capsules for lowering blood pressure in patients with hypertensive emergencies, and works as quickly. d
