  • One in four patients who were treated for renal artery stenosis developed worsening renal function within 3 years (24%: 95% CI: 16% to 31%). a
  • One in seven went on to require renal dialysis (15%: 95% CI: 8.5% to 21%) and one in ten died within 3 years  (10%: 95% CI: 4.8% to 15%). a
