  • dysmorphic red blood cells b
  • pigmented granular casts b

Note

  • 'Pigmented granular' casts are also called 'haem-granular' or 'muddy brown' casts.

Why?

Absence of dysmorphic red blood cells or presence of haem-granular casts makes glomerular disease less likely
