Why?

• Atriotomy controls symptoms in 93% of patients (95% CI: 89% to 97%) - 2% die during surgery (95% CI: 0.1% to 4.4%) and 0.6% require a permanent pacemaker (95% CI: 0.0% to 1.8%) ^c
