  • Early neurological impairment occurs in a third of patients with suspected CO poisoning (31%: 95% CI: 21% to 40%). c
  • Patients with HbCO > 10% are more likely to have neurological impairment at 10 days. c

Elevated HbCO levels increase the risk of neurological disability
