Early neurological complications are common (headache, nausea, lack of concentration). c
Late complications are uncommon, and are usually minor and transient, but are more common in patients who lose consciousness initially. b  

In pregnancy, mild toxicity has little effect on the fetus. However, toxicity severe enough to cause maternal unconsciousness increases the risk of fetal death or anoxia. c

Death is uncommon. c
