Early neurological complications are common (headache, nausea, lack of concentration). Late complications are uncommon, and are usually minor and transient, but are more common in patients who lose consciousness initially.
In pregnancy, mild toxicity has little effect on the fetus. However, toxicity severe enough to cause maternal unconsciousness increases the risk of
fetal death or anoxia. |
